Bible Studies
Aside from Sunday morning classes, we have several Bible study opportunities offered during the week. Every first and third Sundays, we meet to discuss the book “Behold Your God: The Weight of Majesty” by John Snyder. This book focuses on the attributes of God as revealed in His Scriptures and seeks to instill in its readers a high view of God. Click here to view our calendar for our next meeting date and time.
Every Wednesday morning at 6:30am, our men’s Bible study meets to study through the book of Romans in a verse by verse format. Additionally, the men of Faith meet on the third Saturday morning of each month for breakfast and Bible study. Click here to view our calendar and learn more about these events.
Message of Hope Ministry
Message of Hope is a Christ-centered outreach ministry in Gillespie County providing emergency food assistance to individuals and families in need. Beyond groceries, we offer something deeper:
- Gospel-centered conversations in a safe, pressure-free environment
- One-on-one mentoring with a caring, trained mentor
- Regular life coaching to help set goals, overcome challenges, and move toward stability
We feed bodies, build relationships, share hope, and point people to Jesus—one life at a time.

Family Ministry
The phrase “family” at Faith Baptist Church may refer to one’s own personal family or to the Church family as a whole. Faith Baptist seeks to emphasize both of these families by planning activities that strengthen both. Church family activities include Wednesday evening fellowship meals, retreats , camping, mission trips, “work days” around the church, Sunday evening fellowships/game times, and more. Activities that pertain to one’s immediate family include periodic classes that focus on marriage, parenting, and that incorporate our youth and children. We at Faith Baptist believe strong families mean strong churches.
Local Jail Ministry
Twice a month a team goes into the local jail and lead a Bible Study entitled “The Essential Doctrines of the Faith”.
Disaster Relief Ministry
Over the years, Faith Baptist has had the privilege of serving communities touched by natural disasters–both near and far. Some examples of outreaches we have participated in include assisting with cleanup efforts after the tragic Kerrville floods and after hurricanes on the Texas coast.
